On Saturday, May 20, 2023, Hempstead-Uniondale Rotary, in partnership with Ridgewood Savings Bank, will collect donations of basic necessities for homeless veterans with General Needs Ltd., and will sort and pack bags for its Rotary Day of Service.

General Needs is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization serving veterans for over 14 years. They provide essential items, such as socks, underwear, t-shirts, warm jackets, boots, and hygiene products. They are dedicated to creating a better future for America’s veterans.

Hempstead-Uniondale Rotary is collecting the following NEW items for the event:
- Bath Towels and Washcloths
- Socks
- Male Underwear
- Male T-Shirts

Donations are being accepted throughout Queens and Western Nassau from 4/15 to 5/18. Please consider dropping off a donation to one of the following locations:
