On Saturday, May 18, 2024, Huntington Rotary is hosting two projects. In the morning, they will help with set-up and registration for the 4th Annual Darlene Carbone Brain Tumor Foundation Walk at Sunken Meadow State Park, and in the afternoon, they will participate in the 14th Annual Huntington Station Spring Cleanup Day, cleaning the streets by Pulaski Ave, New York Ave, and the Huntington Train Station for its Rotary Day of Service.
The 4th Annual Darlene Carbone Brain Tumor Foundation Walk is in recognition of Brain Tumor Awareness Month. All proceeds will be split evenly among Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and The Darlene Carbone Brain Tumor Foundation.
The 14th Annual Huntington Station Spring Cleanup Day is hosted by Huntington Station Happy Helpers, Friends of Huntington Station Latin Quarter, and Huntington Matters. Refreshments will be available at 3:00 PM. Bring gloves if you have them!
Whether you’re in Rotary or not, we’d love to have your help for as much of the day as you can spare! Please sign up to volunteer, and we’ll be in touch.
