On Saturday, May 18, 2024, Southold Rotary will partner with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to use basic hand tools and lumber to hand build beds for kids in need on the Northfork for its Rotary Day of Service.
This is the first "build" day for the new North Fork chapter of this national organization. The organization has a slogan, "no kid sleeps on the floor in our town". Our Rotary Club is excited to be a part of making that happen. At the end of the day we hope to have built at 12 to 18 beds for children in need on the North Fork.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need.
